Carson’s nursery

Don’t let anyone tell you differently—the nursery is all about the mother-to-be! Yes, this is the baby’s room but this is also the room where mom will spend the most time. Nesting is a pivotal part of pregnancy. Making the baby’s room a safe, sweet, beautiful haven helps the mother-to-be embrace her new role. Some women start nesting before they even have children. My friend K. bought the most exquisite little dresses for the daughter she dreamed of having one day. (K. is mother to 3 wonderful boys now.) My friend M., who worked at baby coco for a long time, planned her future baby’s nursery every time we found beautiful new fabrics. She must have had 10 different plans. When she did get pregnant, it changed yet again. (The final choice was stunning.) My other friend M. searched high and low for the perfect fabrics for her first daughter’s room. I thought she wouldn’t find anything she loved! Finally, we did track down the perfect fabrics. M. has recently given birth to her 3rd child, her 2nd daughter, and is incorporating those perfect fabrics in the big girl room both her girls will share one day.
