I can’t get enough of purple lately. Everything from lavender and lilac to magenta and aubergine–so cool and sophisticated! Purple is associated with royalty and nobility in human color psychology, from classical antiquity when purple dye was very precious and available only to the very wealthy. Now it is available to all of us but it still feels kind of rich, doesn’t it? Purple works with so many other colors–browns, greens, blues, yellows. It is also a nice alternative to pink.
